Emre’s academic training is in Physics (Reed College) and Electrical and Computer Engineering (Caltech and the University of Arizona). He founded and successfully exited 3 highly profitable medical device startups and has taught innovation and entrepreneurship to a broad range of students and faculty nationally and internationally, including students of science, engineering, medicine, social sciences and the liberal arts. He has served as a Senior Mentor-in-Residence at the University of Arizona’s McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship and the Managing Director of the Washington University’s Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
